PERSONALITY
Bellatrix is a complete fanatic and unshakably devoted to her Lord, for better of worse. She is haughty, arrogant, stubborn and cruel with a penchant for torture and a belief that suffering makes a sacrifice more valuable. She seems to take an immeasurable amount of pleasure in torturing her victims into insanity if she is not able to convert them. (Where does one stop and the other begin, though?)
Unquestionably mad, there's a purity to her single-minded devotion. She is sadistic, possessed of a dangerously violent temper, and utterly devoid of sympathy/empathy unless she believes her god urges otherwise. (Even then it may be a fight sometimes.) Circling the outskirts of this are middling to high levels of paranoia. She trusts R'hllor only and works "best" alone.
Incredibly cruel, and fascinated by torture, Bella also exhibits disturbing childlike qualities. She loves to taunt and belittle, to rub salt in the wound before she strikes again - to drag death into many painful stages for her own amusement. She is easily distracted, though, and this is a definite weakness. She will almost always overestimate her own (and R'hllor's) power.
She may be reckless and mad, but she is also tireless. Out of that madness comes a bravery born of visceral glee. She would gladly give her own life to her cause - in her beliefs she has already done so and only lives by R'hllor's will.

ABOUT
Raised as a noble, married into nobility and had two children. Received the calling at twenty nine and abandoned her family for the Temple. Many years into her service she was called upon to prove her devotion by converting one of her children. She failed to do so with words so she gave her firstborn son to the flames. She was greatly rewarded.
Recently she has arrived with fellow priests to King's Landing with a fixed eye on converting those who are worthy.
APPEARANCE
Bellatrix is tall (5'10" ish) and thin, still possessing faint traces of what was once great beauty. Once shining black but still thick, her long mass of hair is now shot through with grey, and often runs tangled and wild. She's become more gaunt, and her right hand is blackened by fire, two of the fingers withered and showing bone.
In bright light, especially by fire it's evident her eyes are not dark brown but very dark violet.
If her gown is cut low enough, part of a brand - a pattern of flames can be seen fanning out from her breast over where her heart would be.
ABILITIES
She was brought up as a noblewoman, has the ability to read several languages, and the common highborn skills that come with such status though she rarely has use for them - and many (music, etc.) have fallen by the wayside.
Although physical skills are not her strength, she is incredibly energetic and agile for her age, and she knows her way around using and throwing a dagger.
She is very skilled in the ability to inflict pain and takes a great joy in it, believing she is using it in service to her Lord. She's able to see and interpret (not always correctly) visions in flames, "hear" her god speak to her through fire, and possesses blood magic and shadowbinding abilities.
